We only work with what we would wear ourselves.
We have ordered samples that looked perfect on paper and rejected them once they were actually in our hands.
Because specifications only tell part of the story.
Before we commit to a garment, we wear it ourselves. We wash it repeatedly. We measure how it changes. We check shrinkage, fit, structure, and hand feel. We test how our decoration interacts with the fabric and compare it directly against alternatives.
Sometimes the difference is obvious.
Sometimes it takes several wears and washes before it becomes clear.
Either way, we would rather find out before you do.
We source from more than one manufacturer on purpose.
We are not interested in forcing an entire collection through one supplier simply because it makes sourcing easier.
Different manufacturers specialize in different things.
One may produce the jersey with the hand and finish we want. Another may make a better French terry. Another may have the fleece construction that suits a particular silhouette.
So we compare them.
We are willing to work across manufacturers, fabric constructions, blends, and countries of origin when the finished garment meets our standard.
We care where something comes from. But we judge quality by the product itself—not the flag on the label.
